CQC Rated Good | Care at Home
Home Care in Chester-le-Street and Gateshead
Stay in the home you love with regular visits from a small team of carers who know you, your routines and what matters to you. From a short morning call to several visits a day, we fit around your life, not the other way round.

What Is Home Care?
Home care, sometimes called domiciliary care, means a trained carer visits you at home to help with the everyday tasks that have become harder to manage alone. Visits are planned around your day, so you keep your independence, your routines and your privacy while getting exactly the help you need.
Every package is delivered under our CQC registration, which means a proper assessment, a written care plan, risk assessments and daily records, overseen by our registered manager in Birtley.

Meals and hydration: Preparing meals and drinks and encouraging good nutrition.
Medication support: Prompting or administering medication with full records.
Household help: Light housework, laundry, shopping and keeping the home safe and comfortable.
Companionship: Conversation, outings, appointments and staying connected with the community.
Wellbeing checks: Short visits for reassurance when full care is not needed.

Visits That Fit Your Day
Every family is different, so we offer flexible visit patterns that can change as needs change:
Short visits
Quick check-ins for medication, meals or reassurance.
Standard visits
Longer calls for personal care and daily routines.
Multiple visits a day
Morning, lunchtime, teatime and bedtime support.
Extended visits
Half or full days for outings, respite for family carers or higher needs.
Night care and live-in care
Continuous support when visits alone are not enough.
We will always be honest about the visit length a task needs. Care should never feel rushed.
Familiar Faces, Every Visit
We match each person with a small team of carers so the same people visit regularly, learn your preferences and notice small changes early. Cover for holidays or sickness comes from within your team wherever possible, and you will always know who is coming and when.
Our carers are recruited through safer recruitment, DBS-checked, trained in moving and handling, medication, safeguarding and dementia awareness, and supported by supervision, spot checks and 24/7 on-call management.
